Subhashini Goda is an artist and academic whose work is rooted in the classical Indian dance form Bharatanatyam, and the recipient of the Creative Ireland-funded Solstice Arts Centre Diversity Award. Her project, (Sub)liminal, is an innovative movement piece that explores the connections between textiles and dance. Blending choreography with the physical processes of weaving and draping, the work also engages with important global themes, including the impact of fast fashion on climate change and social inequality.

As part of the project, Subhashini will collaborate with artists and climate researchers, while also inviting the public to get involved through a series of 8–12 engaging workshops. The project will culminate in the presentation of a full-length performance in 2027.
