Let your imagination run wild today and over the summer as you discover the wonderful world of reading at your local library.

 Embark on a wonderful journey and see what adventures are in store for you.  

Summers Stars is a reading initiative under the national Right to Read campaign which encourages children to read over the summer months. 

Beginning on Tuesday the 2nd of June, the adventure will run to  Monday the 31st August and joining is free of charge. 

To kickstart their reading adventure each participant is given an activity logbook to record the books they read throughout the summer. 

There are prizes along the way for books read and plenty of activities to take part in throughout the Summer.

A series of in-branch events and activities will also be taking place over the summer months to celebrate Summer Stars including themed arts and crafts, summer stars story time sessions, messy play activities and many more to be announced including the exciting End of Summer Stars Party!
