The project consists of the creation of a sculptural art work by the young people around the themes biodiversity alteration, Celtic and multicultural myths about the transformative power of nature, considering the unique feature of our area sitting on the edge of urban/rural Galway East.

The youth will be involved in all phases of the project: investigation of aesthetics and brainstorming / design / making phases. They will be guided by a local artist with vast experience in multidisciplinary socially engaged Arts. The project will conclude with an intergenerational celebration for the families and friends of the young participants leading to the sharing of memories, stories and renewed ways of connection in our multicultural area.

This project will provide youth participating with a platform for creative expression, ensuring that their views are valued.
