'Kizomba Dance Mastery' is a two‑day event (15–16 August) in Galway City, organised by Esmeraldo Tavares, founder of Kizomba Dance Academy and organiser of the Kizomba and Semba Festival Ireland. Since 2019, he has delivered successful Afro and Latin dance events across Galway, Dublin, and Cork, fostering community and collaboration for local and international artists. Featured artists include global top‑tier artist Ines Miranda (Portugal, ~1M Instagram followers), Lenny Cassule, Yana, Umar (England), Kabelo & Edyta, Micas Andre, Dj Matt, and Esmeraldo (Ireland). 

The programme includes open‑level workshops, international artist performances, and a public choreography showcase in Galway City Centre. On Sunday, a choreography created by the lead artist will be performed and professionally filmed outdoors, open to the public—creating a shared cultural moment and generating international visibility for Galway via social media. 

A free community day on Friday 14 August offers open workshops and social dancing, ensuring broad public participation without financial barriers. With over 10 million social media views, proven event delivery, and promotional flyers generating 30,000+ organic views, the project engages diverse audiences. The involvement of internationally recognised artists with large followings further strengthens its visibility and outreach.
