The Writing Road with Helen Blackhurst

This six-week creative writing programme will guide participants from the first spark of an idea to building the structure of a complete story. Through a series of engaging craft workshops, writers will explore how stories begin, how to navigate key turning points, and how to bring a narrative to a satisfying conclusion.

Using a range of creative prompts inspired by objects, images, scents and sounds recorded in County Clare, participants will develop ideas and discover new approaches to storytelling. The workshops will focus on strengthening the writer's observational skills, sharpening attention to detail, and creating vivid, believable worlds on the page.

Suitable for both new and emerging writers, the course provides a supportive environment in which to experiment with ideas, develop writing techniques and grow in confidence.
