Tipperary County Museum has a significant Municipal Art collection, which includes a large set of prints by Robert Ballagh 'People and a Frank Stella 1975'.This impressive work is which was commissioned for the walkway into the  5 Star Supermarket in the town centre and subsequently gifted to the County Museum in 1992 when it closed, is much loved by the people of Clonmel as a unique piece of social history and the county's heritage. The full length of the work is 72 feet long. Following a meeting with Robert Ballagh the prints were conserved and in collaboration with the Clonmel Junction Arts Festival a number of panels were put on display at  the Showgrounds Shopping Centre in Clonmel during the festival, with an associated educational programme. Such was the response to this display that it has been extended indefinitely so once again the people of Tipperary have access to this  tremendous piece of work.
