.It is proposed to invite a leading Irish casting director to Donegal to conduct a Masterclass in Acting & Auditioning for TV & Television for years & is Ireland's go-to casting agent. Actors in Donegal who want to improve their Audition & self-tapping skills, or are entry level & want to know how to make a great first time impression in the audition room , will be invited to attend this half day workshop. It will form part of the overall 3 day Ballyliffin Film Festival in September 2019.

Ordinarily, people would have to travel to the bigger cities to avail of this type of masterclass, with this caliber of instructor. Attendants will be given scenes to study beforehand and then material will be recorded and reviewed on the day itself. The benefit of local people considering a career in acting will be immense. Maureen will also get a feel for the huge level of talent in the county and consider these actors for future roles. There are a number of Acting Groups in Donegal & this will allow them to learn & be seen by one of Ireland's greatest industry experts.The project will be delivered by the team at Disappear Here Media who have successfully run the Ballyliffin Film Festival for the last 2 years. It is proposed to run the Masterclass on September 28th 2019. It will be advertised via Social Media, Website etc. Our Film manager Tanya McLaughlin will be responsible for communicating with the attendants, and the logistics of the course on the day.
