A Poem About Grief is a short film directed by voice artist Avia Gurman in collaboration with videographer Daniel McLarnon.

It presents a visual-keening song/poem cycle that echoes the tender subject of grief within an individual and a community. The film will be screened as part of a one-day interactive workshop in creative-voice. The workshop will explore loss, grief, and love. It will be held during the feast of Samhain and will be facilitated by  Avia Gurman. 

This event will include a screening of a short film and a workshop. The workshop will be five hours and the screening event will follow and will last two hours.
