A series of soundbites by the Westmeath Historian in Residence Ian Kenneally on Midlands Radio 103 featuring events in local history 100 years ago.

In conjunction with the Decade of Centenaries Programme Dept. Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media. The infomercials will be accompanied by a series of short features on topics of local history and together these will highlight topics such as the Destruction of the Westmeath Independent, Laurence and Alice Ginnell, James Daly and the Connaught Rangers.
