Creative Writing Classes for Kids

Author Debbie Thomas has crafted a new series of workshops for schools entitled A World of Difference. Debbie is the author of Dead Hairy, Jungle Tangle, Monkie Business, Class Act and My Secret Dragon and she organised the wonderful Nation Creation workshops in dlr LexIcon a few years ago. She has run creative writing and story workshops in all sort of places, from schools and libraries to hospitals and direct provision centres.

These workshops will explore prejudice in a fun, creative way, in order to build acceptance, find common ground and celebrate difference. Six classes from six different schools in the County will enjoy two sessions each with Debbie, creating a booklet per class of their writings.
