AHA African Storytellers
AHA Storytellers are a group of Carlow residents who come from a range of African countries. Their aim is to share, conserve and promote their African heritage, folklore and traditions with the Carlow community and in so doing, to broaden the understanding of diverse African cultures by delivering storytelling creative story writing, poetry, singing, dancing, acting, and drumming events. During 2024, the AHA Storytellers will engage with a range of community groups and organisations, sharing their culture through, song, story telling and more in a fun and interactive way, showcasing traditional African costumes, instruments and art work.
