The OFFline Animation Residency - now in its 6th year - is a chance for experienced animators to move to the midlands Mecca of culture - Birr that is - and focus on their passion projects for 6 months without the distractions of city commutes, rent, food, and other unimportant things like that.

A call out for 2024 animators will take place mid-February and three animators will be selected in May. Out of five years of the Animation Residency, two of our animators have progressed to win an IFTA - so we’ve got form here! 

There will be outreach activities to schools and other artists so do keep your eyes peeled. There will also be a weekly open door drop in where the public will be invited to meet the animators and hear about what they are working on. 

OFFline Film Festival will run from October 9th to October 13th 2024 and will include a Show and Tell from the animators.
