Anonn | The Other Side: Ag Samhlú tSaoil Eile / Imagining an Otherworld

Join Scaoilte Theatre, in partnership with Siamsa Tíre, for Ag Samhlú tSaoil Eile /Imagining an Otherworld—a unique series of bilingual (Irish and English) theatre workshops exploring our relationship with the natural world through Irish language, folklore, and the mythology of the Otherworld.

Over four weeks, participants will devise original creative work using theatre-making, storytelling, and collaborative performance practices, imagining new ways of living within our more-than-human world. The project will culminate in a contemporary sound installation, created from participants' voices and ideas, while also showcasing environmentally conscious, low-waste creative practices.

As part of the experience, every participant will receive a ticket to Anonn | The Other Side, Scaoilte Theatre's award-nominated bilingual production at Lasta Festival, offering an opportunity to see how the themes explored in the workshops come to life on stage.

Whether you're an Irish speaker, learner, theatre enthusiast, or simply curious about creativity, community, and the environment, this is an invitation to imagine new worlds together. Age range 16-24 year olds.
