The proposed project is a series of arts events aimed at older people, which will also be dementia-friendly.

This series of events will give older people an opportunity to participate in cultural activities (specifically storytelling and reminiscence, music appreciation, memoir writing, art, creative technologies, and discovering different aspects of art in a social setting) in order to realise their creative potential and improve their quality of life. 

An Intergenerational dimension has been included in the project as part of the promotion of an Age Friendly county and to give participants an opportunity to engage with new technologies that they would not otherwise have.

The events will be facilitated by artists and practitioners who are experienced in working with older people, including those with dementia. The events will take place across the library branch network.
