Carlow Arts Festival in collaboration with Asylum productions and in partnership with Carlow Arts Office and Carlow County Development Partnership are researching and developing a large-scale spectacle community event. The project sees Asylum productions work with a diverse group of community participants across four key areas of Carlow County (Rathvilly, Tullow, Hacketstown and Graiguecullen) to develop the work. The work will focus on the history of rural electrification in Ireland and in particular Carlow. Asylum productions are also working with the community collaborators to explore new, innovative and sustainable means of powering a work of this scale.
