Away with the Fairies is a drama programme for primary school children based on Frances Browne’s classic Granny’s Wonderful Chair. Delivered by Performer/Theatremaker Louise Conaghan and academic/playwright Shirley-Anne Godfrey, this series of Drama in Education sessions allows children to both experience and create the magic of Granny’s Wonderful Chair. A fun, interactive and creative learning experience, this programme will combine performance elements with an imaginative Drama in Education programme, giving  5th/6th class children a unique encounter with the work of a writer from their home town.
