Kerry County Museum is delighted to offer dementia friendly AZURE TOURS based on the Museum’s varied collection. Azure tours are specifically designed to support people living with dementia and their family, friends or carers. 

Led by specially trained and experienced educator Hazel Ramsay, these 45-minute tours will cover 2-3 objects on display, or from the museum's reserve collection, and are specifically designed to support people living with dementia and their family, friends or carers. 

Each tour can accommodate 8-10 participants living with dementia and their support person. Tours  can be booked by emailing education@kerrymuseum.ie 

There will also be outreach services provided to Care Homes in the county where less mobile dementia patients can experience the museums offerings.

The museum aims to hold regular monthly dementia friendly tours and services going forward.
