Backstage Theatre's 2023 residency programme will have three strands. One strand open to artists from all genres, one strand for a dance artist delivered in collaboration with Shawbrook and one strand for an artist making work for children and young audiences in collaboration with Branar's Meitheal programme.

This fourth annual residency programme will see successful artists selected from submissions and awarded bursaries of up to €5,000 and given access to the studio at Backstage for up to two weeks.  

A call out will be issued to artists on Backstage Theatre's website and social media platforms.
