Ballinderreen Community Centre are working with artist and urban sketcher Róisín Curé, facilitating creative collaboration between the artist, youth groups and Irish language group Ballinderreen Ciorcal Comhrá.  Róisín will run two bilingual classes in sketching and illustration with children in Ballinderreen and the surrounding areas of Clarinbridge, Ardrahan and Kinvara, bringing them on a creative journey through colour and line, shape and form, fun and play. 

She will also work with older members of the community through the Ciorcal Comhrá, introducing exciting new opportunities for the group to try their hand at drawing and sketching. For an artist who delivers many of her workshops internationally and away from her home place, this collaboration provides an opportunity for her to connect with a community closer to home and will hopefully provide the impetus for many more creative collaborations in this vibrant community.
