This project will develop a biodiversity mural incorporating wild animals, tress and leaves using children’s hand print. The project will be led by artist Dominika Stoppa with assistance from parents and grandparents from the school to create the mural in order to improve climate literacy. The project will create awareness about biodiversity and climate change. This will be complimented by lessons on climate change and other biodiversity projects in the school, not only in the following school year but in the years following. The children will also be involved in the project, in class they will trace their hands and then the adults will add their hand shapes to the tree.
