Biodiversity on the Block: A Creative Workshop for Young Nature Enthusiasts!

Join us in celebrating Biodiversity Week with an exciting and educational print workshop, brought to you in partnership with Bernadette Moloney, Kilkenny's dedicated Biodiversity Officer.

Workshop Highlights:

• Duration: 60-70 minutes of fun and learning
• Age Group: 8-12 years old
• Class Size: Up to 20 students

• Discover Nature: Dive into the world of native Irish plants and animals. Learn about the vital role of hedgerows in our ecosystem through engaging discussions.
• Hands-On Printing: Get creative with block printing! Try your hand at this unique technique using our 20 different biodiversity printing blocks.
• Personalized Art: Bring an old t-shirt or jumper from home and transform it into a piece of wearable art featuring your favorite plant or animal.
• Collaborative Project: Contribute to a class or school biodiversity banner, combining screen printing and block printing techniques.

• Spaces are fully booked through St. Johns Senior School in Kilkenny
• All the equipment provided but participants need to bring their own t-shirt
