Skehana & District Heritage Group celebrates Bloomsday 2022 in a local rural setting in County Galway.

The evening will involve a narration of James Joyce’s Ulysses publication, selected readings from each chapter by our group members and guests, and music and song associated with the book.

While celebrating the centenary of its publication, we also celebrate Joyce's wife, Nora Barnacle, and her Galway roots.

Costume and dress of the era, 1904, will be worn to include hats, spectacles and clothing.

Complimentary food and refreshments are offered at this free event.
