Blue Teapot are in theatre development mode with a new inclusive project ‘The FairyTree’ currently being explored in workshops with Director Rod Goodall.

Time is being spent crafting ideas, form, working on puppetry and performance skills, casting characters and progressing a completed first draft script by Rod.

Blue Teapot are excited about the possibilities of this development phase, and to eventually show artists with intellectual disabilities at work to children with/without disabilities. This can only be described as groundbreaking – the company is not aware of any commercial, professionally produced children’s theatre that has intellectually disabled artists as the performers.

They look forward to bringing audiences a production in 2022.
