The Campervan of Sound Festival is delighted to collaborate with Modwords' 'ModFest' this summer on the 10/11th of July 2021. This will allow for an amazing blend of music, art, performance, poetry, theatre, podcasts and give depth to the festivals.

This year will involve pre-recorded gigs to be streamed via online platforms such as Modwords & Campervan of Sound Facebook &
Instagram pages. The vans provide a visual backdrop and stage for the acts while also creating the atmosphere for the festival. We will be shooting the pre records during June in a number of secret locations in Waterford.

Each pre record area of stage will host a range of music from rock metal to acoustic soul. For example the smaller VW Beetle Stage will host more of the acoustic sound and vibe while the vans focus on larger diverse bands.

If permitted the festival will also focus on street stages across Waterford city with main stages consisting of 1980’s & 1970's Vintage VW camper vans and a smaller vintage car stage. The visual aesthetics is massively important in this festival as I take inspiration from 'Body and Soul' and 'Other Voices' to create a memorable experience.
