Alice Kyteler, the first person charged with witchcraft in Europe, and Petronella de Meath, the first to face the stake for witchcraft, cast shadows that echo through time. This landmark trial not only captivated the medieval city but reverberated globally, setting the stage for infamous witch trials like those in Salem and Pendle.
