DIY Woodworking Workshop with Paul Carew, Owner of Lúchta Studios, Tipperary. 

Paul Carew is a Handcraft Furniture Maker & Artist who uses old style woodworking techniques ensuring durability and pleasing aesthetics, he also uses storm damaged/salvaged wood to complete his pieces ensuring sustainability. Paul’s work is currently on display and for sale in Cahir Arts Gallery

Objective:
By the end of the four sessions, participants will have hands-on experience in essential woodworking techniques, correct material applications, as they complete a small project, gaining practical knowledge and application of wood restoration and finishes.

This four week series of woodworking workshops is open to members of Thurles Men's Shed and will take place each Wednesday commencing on Wednesday 7th May.
