This winter, two of the South East’s creative and cultural success stories again join forces and collaborate for the fourth time, as Butler Gallery presents an exhibition in response to Cartoon Saloon’s upcoming new feature animated film My Father’s Dragon. The story is about a boy who runs away from home to rescue a baby dragon. Directed by Cartoon Saloons’ Nora Twomey, My Father’s Dragon is due for release on Netflix this coming November.
My Father’s Dragon: The Exhibition, is curated by Anna O’Sullivan, Director of Butler Gallery and designed by award winning exhibition designer Steven McNamara of Roji. It will combine Butler Gallery’s expertise in creating critically acclaimed and culturally relevant exhibitions of the highest quality with Cartoon Saloon’s worldwide reach and distinctive hand-drawn style, to develop an immersive, sensory, vibrant and child-centred exhibition experience that will captivate all ages transcending age and background.
