The Wicklow Children & Youth Programme aims to give the children and young people of Wicklow the chance to experience and participate in arts and cultural activities in line with the Programme objectives as set out in the Creative Youth Plan. This will be achieved through local and inter-agency collaborations which include collaborations with the Wicklow Library Services to curate and manage a range of artistic and cultural activities and performances across County Wicklow; Music in Calary to create a schools programme where students from local schools are invited to listen and jam with high experienced classical musicians in Calary Church; West Wicklow Music Festival to develop a blended online/offline format for Whistle in the Wind Musical Trail, a musical, creative initiative aimed at children aged 3 to 6.

In providing these programmes, Wicklow Arts Office will increase opportunities for children and young people to access creative and artistic activities in out-of-school settings giving them the chance to become creative, active citizens.
