In 2019, IMY Orchestra to promote the growth of the orchestra and support outreach initiatives, including organising regular reunions with past members through concerts, social activities and free concerts for the wider local area.  Plan a series of masterclasses with members of the RTE Concert Orchestra as tutors as part of a new partnership.  The intended 1day masterclass will take place in Mullingar Arts Centre on 26th October 2019, covering most of orchestral instruments of the main and junior orchestra.  Classes will be string, percussion, brass and wind instruments.  There will be about 50 musicians to avail of the masterclass, with subsequent free public concert on the same evening.
