Clonmel Applefest aims to celebrate Clonmels unique sense of place by bringing people together to explore its natural and built heritage, offer artistic and creative experiences that encourage cross sectoral dialogue and collaboration and hosting innovative and convivial public realm experiences that engage people around art, food, crafts nature and heritage.

Unfortunately the festival fell victim to the pandemic but the committee delivered a programme through small contained outdoor events and online content with some Facebook live engagement for some tangible interaction.

Activites included a series of heritage videos of artists involved in the Apple Heritage Fair, a biodiversity trail with QR codes that can be downloaded to your phone. A bunting project where people could collect the materials and paint their own bunting which was then displayed in the town for a month. Finally Nature Creatures from the 2019 festival were brought out again to adorn the roundabouts and spread a little cheer.
