Longford's libraries continue their commitment to teaching children the basics of computer coding. Classes are taking place throughout the year and are proving very popular with young people. A beginner's course consists of six sessions iand has been held in each of the county's branch libraries in turn. In the period from 1 February to early June, the schedule was as follows:

1 February - 8 March: Lanesborough

2 March - 13 April: Longford

6 March - 10 April: Granard 

27 April - 8 June: Longford

2 May - 6 June: Ballymahon

7 May - 11 June: Lanesborough
