To complement and support this year’s concert series in Kilkenny we organised follow up visits to a number of the care homes after the concerts.

The visits were being organised in order for the facilitators / writers to spend some time with the residents who attended the concerts to collect information from them around the following:

• The impact and significance of the concerts to them
• How the concerts might have made a difference to their everyday life in the care home
• Any memories the concert / interaction/ music has unlocked for them
• And overall the effect and impression / benefits of these activities for them
