The conservation of Rath Church and Graveyard, a 17th-century building, with masonry workshops for the local schools and community, will acknowledge the historic nature of traditional skills and crafts.

The demonstrations will specifically target young people in the community, the Active Age Group, ICA and Men's Shed Group.

The demonstration for the 5th and 6th classes from two local schools will tie in with their local history and geography curriculum.

Further demonstrations will tie in with ongoing heritage and historical events in Cavan.
