Cork City Libraries Dancer in Residence Inma Pavon will facilitate monthly creative dance/movement workshops throughout 2024, based on ideas taken from the 'Donated Dance Library book collection'. The creative ideas will be inspired by costume, dance history, dancers and choreographers, with participants exploring their own movements through dance, drawing and reading, and creating from their own experiences.

Creative dance workshop dates are:

10 February, 9 March, 13 April, 11 May, 8 June, 13 July, 10 August, 14 September, 12 October, 7 November, 9 December 

The Dancer In Residence programme will also include quarterly lunchtime screenings of dance films selected from the Music Library, while dance performances will be scheduled for Bealtaine and Christmas.
