In continuation with workshops delivered by Lynn Marie Dennehy, Cork Printmakers will maintain its relationship with the Cork Migrant Centre service users, comprising mothers in Direct Provision or ex-Direct Provision, along with others who are from migrant and refugee backgrounds with young children.

The ongoing creative workshops with this group serve an identified need for skill building in print techniques, design and creative concept exploration which the participants use in making artwork but can also be applied to participants’ work in other disciplines such as the textile production, mask making and fashion design (for example the work on the Saoirse Ethnic 'Hands on Deck' initiative).

Working with Lynn Marie Dennehy, the participants will also have the opportunity to learn other creative techniques to expand their practice, with visiting artists from the Cork Printmakers Residency Programme providing additional learning opportunities.
