In early November 2020, the music ensemble Mobile Music Machine visited 10 residential care home in DLR over 4 days, and performed concerts for the residents and staff there.

The ensemble was made up of the following musicians and singers:

Sandra Oman (soprano), Simon Morgan (baritone), Lynda O’Connor (violin), Carla Vedres (viola) and Gerald Peregrine (cello).

Each concert lasted an hour, and the programme included many older songs and familiar pieces of music that the residents were able to sing along to.

All of the performances took place outdoors, and in accordance with current public health guidelines.
