Covid Care Concerts is an innovative new project established in 2020 by cellist Gerald Peregrine. The project was a rapid response to the pandemic and the many problems that this presented to older people and musicians.

To date, the project has delivered over 700 concerts to residential nursing homes in 18 counties around Ireland, employing over 70 musicians.

Covid Care Concerts will run in County Waterford from September to December 2021, delivering 40 concerts across the county and visiting 10 separate locations, performing 10 concerts a week over four weeks. Please note that these performances are closed to residential care home residents only.
