Amach!  LGBT Galway and Teach Solais not only provide much needed support services for those in our community who are vulnerable or in crisis but also has become a focal point to highlight and nurture the creative vibrant culture within our community.

Looking towards Galway 2020 European capital of culture, AMACH! wishes to explore Galway's LGBT + Community's wellbeing, culture and identity through creative means.  The project would involve a multi-modal approach.  Firstly through compilation of individual LGBTI people's stories - their history, their journey etc.  including photographs, this would be an oral history documenting the lives of LGBT + individuals in Galway.
