Creative Edenderry, a cultural empowerment initiative involving Edenderry community, Offaly County Council Arts Office and Voluntary Arts Ireland are working in partnership, seeking to consider, through creativity, what is distinctive about Edenderry.

Creative Edenderry will be launching a new project on Culture Night which will be a discovery and celebration of Our Place? Through this project, titled Shoes of Edenderry, the network will develop an exhibition (either virtually, live or both) including images, stories and possibly audio recordings of local people who worked in Edenderry shoe factory. The project / exhibition is planned to be disseminated both online as a virtual exhibition and as physical exhibition in vacant shop windows.
