Through our Creative Ireland open call project bursaries dlr was thrilled to fund 6 high quality and innovative initiatives across dlr. Artists working in a range of disciplines were supported to develop engaging community projects. These included:

• An early years Lullaby music project in Ballyogan Community Centre, supported by Music Network and facilitated by highly skilled musicians Eamon Sweeney, Lisa McGuinness and Malachy Robinson
• Andrea Scott of Floating World Theatre was funded to develop a Beckett inspired promenade production with older age theatre group The Elders with support from the Mill Theatre Dundrum
• Research and a mapping exercise with communities in Ennel and Inagh courts in Ballybrack was developed by Blue Drum
• A mini tour by Festival in a Van to three care settings in Shankill, Kilternan and Leopardstown
• Funding for Sandyford Youth Band to enable bursaries for participant fees and to support community performances
• A capacity building scheme for the organisation MAM that supported creative development and engagement for theatre artists with caring responsibilities, also in the Mill Theatre, Dundrum. 

We are thrilled to be able to support such rich and innovative practices through this funding and look forward to developing it further into 2025.
