Creative Techniques for Community Engagement.  Creative Ireland Focus Group conversations detailed the very real need for creative capacity among the team of leaders that engage with communities and that creative processes might be used to assist communities develop solutions to community based and county based issues. A Rural Directorate staff familiarisation model for use in community mobilisation will be developed.  The action will up-skill all Rural Directorate staff including the Rural Development Officers in Clare, so that creative techniques are taught by professional artists, and shared at community level.  Two sessions are planned for 11 October and 15 November on 'How to Manage Conflict and Build Healthy Communities through Restorative Practices' facilitated by Joe Power, Restorative Practices Development Officer, with Céim ar Chéim of Limerick.
