Cruinniú na nÓg, the national day of creativity for children and young people takes place on Saturday, 13th June. It aims to celebrate and encourage children and young people’s participation in culture and creativity by providing free, activity-based action in their own locality.

Kildare’s Creative Ireland team is seeking proposals from creatives practitioners and organisations to host and facilitate creative engagements for and with children and young people across the county for Cruinniú na Óg 2020.

The emphasis of Cruinniú na nÓg is on doing, making, creating. We are particularly interested in supporting projects that include the voice of the child/young people. We welcome projects that explore climate change, ecology or a sense of place. Programmes may be devised in advance, but the main component must take place or culminate on Saturday 13th June 2020.
