Culture Night invites everyone, everywhere on one joyful night to discover and celebrate all that our culture is today. With a rich and diverse programme of thousands of events that span layers of arts and culture from architecture to comedy, circus to dance, film to literature, museums to music, heritage to sport and science to fashion, to name but a few….

This year’s programme in Mayo is also supported by Creative Ireland Mayo and will include a glorious offering of online and outdoor events, embracing all aspects of the county’s culture with a programme of fantastic shows and activities happening in  Achill,  Ballina, Ballinrobe, Ballycastle, Ballycroy, Ballyhaunis, Beal an Mhuirthead, Castlebar, Claremorris, Foxford, Louisburgh, Turlough and Westport. There will be almost 30 FREE cultural events in Mayo on the night, some of which you can experience from your own home!

The Culture Night theme for 2021 is Inclusion, Human Rights and Diversity and organisers were encouraged to celebrate creativity in communities across the county.
