Design & Make in 3D with FDYS, TEKcentral Technologies and Wexford Library Service
This project is a partnership between Ferns Diocesan Youth Service, TEKcentral and Wexford Library Service will enable young adults, aged 12-17 years to develop their creative and IT skills by taking part in a two part, hands on design by technology project, using STEM tasters outdoor in summer and to design, make and create with Tinkercad at Halloween.
The programme offers:
- Taster activities at introductory level outdoors in summer using a mix of engineering, technology and problem solving to build interest and skills.
- Followed by a week-long programme in autumn to enable them to create and design products /3D models with technologies available to them in their local library.
The young people will present their work and learnings to their peers, youth workers, families and a public audience in an online production for Wexford Science Festival in Science Week.
