Collecting memories is an integral part of the heritage of our county. Westmeath Heritage with support from Creative Ireland are offering training and mentorship to groups and individuals with Tomas MacNamara.

This course will provide the foundation for the skills and ethics required to bring an oral history project to fruition. Capturing oral histories provides a rich way for all members of the community to have their voice heard and valued.

An introductory talk will be held on 26th May. The course will run between 1st June and 13th July.
