Mayo County Library have accumulated a large collection of maps of the county over the years.

These range from OS to Bog Maps to maps of large estates. The library intend to digitalize this collection and make it available on its website. The maps will be stored using software that allows them to be indexed, searched and overlaid to show social and population change.
