dlr Age-Friendly Magazine 2024
The Age-Friendly Programme of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown (dlr) County Council and the County Age-Friendly Alliance are delighted to announce that the new edition of the 2024 dlr Age-Friendly Magazine will be available free of charge to the public from January 2024.
This will be the fourth year this free 84 page, full-colour magazine funded by Creative Ireland and dlr County Council will be available to the public. The hugely successful annual publication is packed with information on Age-Friendly activities, services and supports available in dlr as well as creative content, information on participating in various creative activities and groups as well as articles and content on heritage, Irish language, Library and Arts services as well as recipes, puzzles and much more!
The theme this year is ‘Good Brain Health’, which will include information on the many services available and activities taking place to support good brain health and raise awareness about Dementia and Alzheimer’s as well as minding your mental health in the county of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. There will be an emphasis on the benefits of creativity in supporting ‘Good Brain Health’ with the support of the Global Brain Health Institute & TILDA based in Trinity College Dublin.
