Dromin Creative is a new and innovative arts group recently launched in County Cavan. The co-ordinators, Heather Brett and Kim Doherty envision Cavan as a celebrated destination not only for local communities but for visitors from far and wide.

Through the recently developed website, Droimín Creative offers literary and arts-based experiences within and inspired by the wonderful Cavan landscape. The group plan to work with the existing infrastructure, the accommodation and quality food sectors, heritage sites, Cavan Library Service, Museum, Cavan Genealogy, Tourism, Cavan Arts office, and businesses.

Visit Cavan Town and stroll through the streets to enjoy a Celebration of Literature where Droimin Creative has showcased poetry and prose on the windows and walls of premises throughout Cavan Town. A tribute to Cavan’s literary legacy and a recognition of the contemporary poets and writers of the County.
