The Droimín Days programme will showcase “Thrice Remembered” a new anthology of writings, artwork, photographs, and memories from Cavan. Each of the contributing authors was asked to write about personal, formative experiences during childhood, adulthood, or from the perspective of hindsight; giving the anthology its title, “Thrice Remembered”.

Droimin Creative will deliver a county-wide programme of readings, poetry, and musical interludes based on stories, reminiscences, and poetry of the writers. Contributors include Noel Monahan, Kate Ennals, John Conlon, Honor Duff, Fidel Hogan Walsh, Patricia Doole, Donald Woodhouse, Anne Smith, Brian McDermot, Olga Maughan, Anne O’Donoghue, Oliver Brady, Paul Farnan, Carolann Farrelly, Winston Bennett, Seán Ó hUltacháin, Savina Donohoe, Eugene Smith, Madge Maguire, Ethel Woodhouse, Antoinette Rock and Heather Brett. The anthology is edited by Heather Brett and the cover image, ‘Follow Your Dreams’ by Julie Corcoran accompanies Fidel’s short story, ‘Into the Unknown.’

Readings will be promoted in the Anglo Celt Newspaper.
