Mebd is a giant red squirrel who pulls a large wicker chariot. She knows secrets and can see into your heart and detect your secret powers!

Mebh will be part of the Drumlin Giants Trail. Her structure is wheelchair accessible, providing space for visitors to pose in her chariot for photographs.  We hope that visitors will share their photographs online and promote the beauty and nature of Rossmore Park to others. 

The Drumlin Giant Trail is located in Rossmore Park on the outskirts of Monaghan Town. It exists to inspire imagination and creativity and encourages children, and children at heart, to spend time enjoying the wonderful amenities of Rossmore Park. Entry to the park and the Drumlin Giants Trail is free. 

This project is a collaboration between Creative Monaghan and Monaghan Municipal District. We will be working with local sculptor, Marc Kelly, who will make the installation and local author, Paul Bond, who has written the stories behind the Rossmore Giants .
